I know how silly you feel, as I had that happen with my Pi Shawl. I dug everywhere and eventually had to dye some more, so it ended up being a slightly different shade of camel. I ultimately overdyed it to burgundy and gave the shawl away.

When you are pushing your two year old in the cart through the store and she's figetting around with her fingers.. you ask her what she's doing and she says "I'm doing my knittin... see what I made you?" and hands you an invisible knit thingamajig.
When you take it with you on date night. _________________ ~ Bj ~ SAHM to 8 wild and crazy kids

Mel, I can guarantee you that I have searched and searched for skeins of yarn that I KNEW I had....only to realize later that I had either sold, gifted, or traded them. I am certain that there was at least one time that I had knit the missing skein, too. _________________ Kari

Thanks, Kim! It went to a lovely lady in my husband's extended family (her husband was our wedding officiant). She doesn't knit but admired it the whole time I knit it. I surprised her with it and she wrote me a lovely thank you note. She wore it all winter last year and has mentioned multiple times about wearing it. _________________ Sweetie to awesome DH and wrangler of the dynamic duo , , and the dynamic duo 2.0 (twin sisters)
