I had my amnio bright and early this morning. I was so nervous I couldn't sleep, I just kept praying my water would break so we could skip it. I have to say though my nurse was awesome and totally calmed me. The amnio wasn't bad at all, felt like getting blood drawn really. A bit uncomfortable but not painful.

Baby looks good, head is down and the NST showed he was doing just fine in there. Then I popped over to get checked, dilated to 1 and only gained 1/2 a pound int eh past 2 weeks. My grand total this pregnancy is 14lbs!! I guess I stayed under my goal of 15.

Now I wait for the results and it is driving me bonkers. The nurse apparently called me but I didn't even hear the phone ring. I called her back about 30minutes ago and now I am just waiting......tick tock tick tock.
