So yesterday was Lilly's first day of preschool. I picked a program that had been going for a long time, was in a good location, had a wonderful teacher and that we could afford. Madison went to the same 4 year old preschool program. Well, I walk in to find there are only 4 students (2 boys, 2 girls) and the teacher took a job as a Spanish teacher and will only be there for day 1. They are scrambling to find a replacement.

So, I took her out. 4 kids is just a big playdate in my opinion. Plus I know nothing about the teacher they intend to find and was ticked by the fact that I was not informed that they may cancel the class due to low enrollment (but are waiting until week 2 to see if more kids sign up). They refunded my money, no questions asked.

So this morning I went and signed her up for another program. Good location, I know the teacher as Madison and Lilly had her for 3's toddler time classes and she is awesome. There are 11 kids in one class, 12 in the other so plenty of social interaction available. Cost a little more but thankfully my FIL gave the kids cash for their birthdays and so I used some of that.

Tomorrow will be first day of preschool Take 2. She is excited and I know since she did toddler classes there last year she will be comfortable and at ease. She'll be going Wednesday and Friday's now, need to find something to do Monday's since it's a long way from Friday to Wednesday for an eager 4 year old.

I would think only four would be good because they get more individual attention but the whole not having a teacher thing...not so much, lol.
