I got 'creative' with Stella's sweater and now I have to frog a lot of it.

Stupid creative thoughts. Why didn't you do a little homework before investing two days of knitting on it? Huh Carrie? A normal person woulda!

But no, you go off half cocked (that's a gun term, not a dirty slang) and get whimsical and creative and now look what you have to do - probably two days of corrections!

Dumb Blonde.

Aww... sorry it didn't work but try not to beat yourself up over it too much. Maybe continue to think on what you were trying to do (draw it out, graph it out, etc) and you can try again the future and have something super fantastic.Hug

Thats why I am so scared to knit without a pattern. Instead of frogging it I would probably put it in the Never to be Finished pile. I'm sorry you have to frog all that!

I showed my SIL and she said she couldn't even notice it. I'm giving it a day or two to sit out of my sight and then I'll come back and decide. I hate the look of seamed together edges. I like a full line of lapel and collar - make since? Well it's meant to be seamed and ribbed, but I made it full and seeded. Now, the area where the lapel and collar meets looks like boobie holes. Can you see it?

It looks like something that could possibly straighten out with washing and blocking... Honestly, I'd sleep on it before frogging (I would probably end up frogging because I'm a flippin perfectionist and even the slightest, most completely invisible thing to others would drive me farking crazy.

Here's my measure for frogging. Am I going to cringe everytime I see (insert object)? Will I be completely not inclined to use product because the issue bugs me? Will it sit in a drawer? If yes to any, then I frog and go again.

I'm all about the froggin,.. it would drive me stark raving flipping insane.... I don't know that I could sleep with it sitting in a flippin corner taunting me either. However,.. I think I have knitters OCD so, I tend to be a little more uppity.

Keep it on the needles, wet it & mess with it & see if it still bugs you.

I'm the same way... My kindergarten teacher wrote on my report card...

"Laura is a delightful student. She is curious and eager to learn. She is, however, a bit too much of a perfectionist. Please work with her on this."

I was doomed from the get-go. Embarassed
