Yesterday I went to the PO to get my new gmd prefolds. I prepped them all day. 5 hot wash, 5 hot dry. They are so pretty and quilted up nicely. I went to put one on DS this morning and it is too small. 50 something dollars in dipes he can't wear. Rise is too short. I bought according to their sizing too.

I also got 2 new snappis. One regular, one toddler.the regular one was used twice and now it is mia, and so I had to open the toddler one.

Then last night I washed wool, but grabbed the wrong wool wash. So the Shorties bled, badly.

I guess it will be another week or so in full time sposies. I was hoping to get back in cloth full time, but only have 6 dipes that currently fit.

Dh will be home from camping Soon and I near to ask if I can afford another 50 something for prefolds. I am certain he will not be happy.

You should be able to sell you GMD prefolds for about what you paid, but will lose a little on shipping. Especially if they ar prepped but not used.

I've also found that prefold that is too small will work inside a cover with velcro or snaps (like a Thirsties if you have one floating around).

Sorry about your bad diapering day.

I am trying to decide I'd I want to sell them or keep them for baby. They are just barely too small. It totally sucks. I might just have to use sposies until payday again. This payday I bought his diapers and summer wardrobe for my girls so I am certain hubby will not want me to buy them.

He gets home in a couple hours so we will see

What size prefolds are they and what size diapers do you need? Maybe you could trade? (I need a few smaller (yellow edge I think) prefolds and have LOTS of diapers in all sizes that you might want?)

I would just trifold and put into a snug cover and see how D does with that. Otherwise, I would say that just listing them on Spots and seeing if they go for close to what you paid would work.

I am sorry Melissa. DD2 is growing out of many of hers and I am trying to sort through my stash that I had to see what will fit her. Hug

I would just trifold and put them in a cover. Covers are super cheap used.

THese prefolds are the reds. I really love them, and I think we will just hold onto them for the baby.

Right now, I am trying to trifold them, into a cover. I just think i need some different covers. I love the flip covers, but i think they are not a good fit for trifolding. I have 1, bumkins cover, and it did work better. Today i am trying a bummis cover. If i find one that works really well, i will just but a couple of them.

I think i will buy a few larger prefolds, to use with a snappi and wool shorts. I really dont like using wool and PUL, so i need some dipes that will work for his wool.

thans for the trifolding suggestion. all the years i used only prefolds and covers, and i never trifolded, so i didnt even think about it.
