Teacher Gifts

I got boring old gift cards for the teachers of my two youngest. But my 5th grader has team teachers and I didn't want to spend as much on each as I had the solo teachers in the lower grades.

So. I got these nice insulated lunchbags from Lands End on clearance ($5). Then I added a caprisun fruit PUNCH pouch with a note taped on that said 'We appreciate your sense of humor and PUNCH lines.' A candy bar with 'It was SWEET having you for a teacher.' And I bought some sandwich boxes ($1.50) to hold a nominal amount gift card and a sandwich-shaped note saying 'You made learning and fun go together like peanut butter and jelly.'

I think they turned out really cute and unique. Hope the teachers agree.

That is a really great idea! Much better and more original then the normal end of the year stuff.
