I know of a Girl Scout troop that uses scraps for projects and a charity that uses them for quilting. |

I toss small scraps, but I do sometimes recycle old 'gently worn' clothes for things. I made a twill ring sling for a friend, and I put a zippered pocket on the tail. The pocket was made from a back pocket from a pair of jeans that couldn't be worn anymore.
I just made a pair of fleece pants for Hayley using the sleeves from a fleece pullover that my stepson outgrew. They're not the nicest pants because I didn't measure and fuged them, but Hayley likes to wear them anyway. I'm also making bags using my dad's old oxford cloth dress shirts. _________________ Hugs,
