I cast on tonight and got quite far.... then, I dropped a stitch and it unraveled a couple rows back through the eyelets....
so, I threw it across the room and I will deal with it tomorrow.
To my Shawl,... "you and me are gonna tangle right good, tomorrow, after breakfast... you best hope I sleep in and then have coffee first!!"

I started mine on Sunday night. BUT guess what I did?? Such a dolt, I cast on using the yarn I'd planned to use for the trim  I wasn't paying much attention, just focused on casting on and grabbed the more colourful yarn and started knitting 
By the time I realized what I did I wasn't starting over, so I may check at the LYS to see if I can buy more (I'm using some fleece artist sock yarn) if not then I may do a scrappy effect shawl. I'm just making the small size but I'm pretty sure I'll need more yarn. I'm enjoying the pattern so much though, I'm glad I started. I thought it would be a hard pattern to pick up & put down but it's not like that at all!

Almost done,.... one the last set of garter pattern for the small size and then the ruffle.... I really like it!!
Now,.. i'm eyeing up my MM that just came in,... thinking I will try one of those colors in a large but, I have no matching trim,... hmmm

Please do! I haven't even cast on yet  I thought I was going to last weekend, but it's already Wednesday! I've spent all my free time this week designing something new

Well,... I wasn't sure I liked it at first as I was dropping the stitches but, once I got through the drops and back into the garters,... I could "see" the vision.... I just wasn't feeling the whole wonky messy stiched but, a couple rows past and it look lovely.... glad I kept knitting because I was trying to think of froggin back and leaving out the drop stitch rounds.... glad I didn't...!!
