We worked out a trade, a side snap wool cover for some fabric she had. I can't remember exactly when the trade happened but i think it was late summer Aug? At first things went fine, i sent out the cover, she sent me 2 of the agreed fabrics - about 1 yard of a knit and 2 yards of a velour w/ a note saying that she couldn't find the other 2 fabrics agreed on, that she wanted to get these right out as she knew i was waiting on the velour for a fall outfit for Faith. I gave it a couple weeks and when nothing came i PM'd her. PM wasn't answered, i posted looking for her on the forums, no luck. I didn't hear from her until Oct 20th when i finally got this PM -

It has been a rough month and a half....my dh's mom has been in the hospital, basically immobilized, and they are doingopen heart surgery on her tomorrow I don't think she is strong enough to make it through, but I'm praying. I also didn't think that being pregnant again would be so hard, but with going back to school and all the activities the kids are in, I have just been wiped out, and needed a break from the online world drama

I'll get that out to you in the AM (I'll package it tonight), and the ool wrap got here fine and is GREAT! Turns out we are having a little girl, so the color is perfect..we didn't know at the time we traded, but I was feeling the "pink vibe" and I was right.

I never heard anything more back and I know she got the PM and has been on the boards since. I originally wasn't going to post anything because I didn't have the PM's from early on, and i'm just not a negative feedback person but I got thinking about it and it's not fair to others who might work out trades with this mama. I certainly didn't get a trade value worthy of a very expensive, barely used soaker, it was like new condition.

Thought about this for a minute, and decided that I woudl post the DC# here as well. It is 420787049101150134711016033256

Also, the trade that I agreed to was MORE than fairly valued, as I received a like-new wrap with seconds snaps for about $50 worth of fabric in trade, plus the shipping cost. Part of the trade on my end was some organic velour that was hgh end, and also VERY heavy to ship. |

I don't live in anywhere near Austin TX. So if that was my package it certainly didn't get delivered to me.
Also yes the original trade fabric was agreeable to me, but it did NOT all arrive so that's why i'm saying i lost out. And NONE of it was organic velour. What i actually received was 1 yard of knit Chez Ami fabric and 2 yards of a leaf print baby nay i believe velour fabric.
I don't want this to become an argument, i didn't get the fabric and i posted appropriate feedback. |

I bought a chalkboard mat on Dec. 11 I believe, for 6 HC$ and $6 paypal, but when it didn't arrive by Christmas I PM'ed her. She said she would get me a DC number. After a couple of days I asked if she had found the DC number but she said things were a little unorganized after the holidays and offered a refund, which I agreed to. I had to remind her about the refund a couple of days later but she did finally refund me....the paypal at least.
ETA: HC refunded today, 1-15-08. Jen also stated that I did not have to remind her, so for that mis-statement I apologize.

Jenny and I worked out a trade. I received a playdress and I sent her a fitted diaper.
The playdress is really cute and fits my dd very well. She was very prompt in communication and shipping! I am very happy with the transaction.

Jen was a participant in a Round Robin style swap that I started at Sewing Mamas in March 2007. After she received the box on 5/12/2007 she failed to send it on to the next mama in line. She did not respond to any contact during June 2007.
She then returned to the Sewing Mamas board on 7/17/07 and posted that she would take care of her outstanding transactions. I PMd her that I would like the box returned to me and she said it would be going out in a few days. I recall getting another PM a few days later saying she was unable to get to the PO and it would go out once again a few days later.
I never recieved my items back nor any future communications.
I also gave her the opportunity to reimburse me the value of the items via Paypal and sent her a Paypal money request. She canceled that via Paypal on 6/16/08 but has still not communicated directly with me since July 2007.

UPDATE 7/15/08: I am still waiting for proof that this package was mailed to me, and delivery confirmation which Jen says she has. Jen said in a PM on 6/24/08 she had records of this somewhere, then ceased communication with me once again and has not responded to any further PMs.

This box was retuned last summer. The pp transaction was not cancelled until the box showed delivered. This is not even a transaction for this board....not sure why it's here. It did take me a bit to return it, but it was completed and feedback was already left at the APPROPRIATE board.

We were doing a trade, a pair of woolies for a pair of fleece longies. I NEVER received them or communication that they were even sent...no DC#, NOTHING. I sent my woolie to her and DC# shows that they were delivered and I have nothing in return. The trade was initiated in early November and I am STILL waiting for some type of communication from her.

Jenny and I traded. I sent her some fabric and she sent an outfit for DD plus difference in $$ as an exchange.
Communication was good the whole time. She sent the outfit out immediately with DC and paid the balance immediately. The outfit was in great condition.
