to make an 11in doll from the kit do i need a sewing machine? how much experience do i need? i dont sew and i've never made a doll before.

you can absolutely do it by hand, it's just the outline of the doll body you'd use the machine for, you'd just want to double stitch to ensure tight seams. the hardest part, for me, was the hair, consider buying that premade Smile

i can't sew a stitch... i want to make a doll though... should i get premade everything? hair, body, head? etc?

Yes, if you'd like your first doll attempt to be a success, I would get premade had and hair. Does she offer premade bodies? If so, I still would pass on that, making the body is REALLY easy, IMO.

Hmmm it sounds easy...i dont own a machine and i dont know anyone with one remotely close LOL so i just get the body also premade?

oops, what I meant to say was even if you owned a machine, you'd only use it to sew the outline of the doll body. And so, sewing that piece by hand really wouldn't be that hard, I think you'd just want to go around twice to ensure a tight seam, KWIM?

Anyone know the size of the Snuggles dolls or Baby Bundles? I don't see it mentioned anywhere but maybe I've overlooked it.

I ordered a mermaid doll kit- there was alot more there that i wanted, but DH shut the paypal down- hee hee! I'm going to see if my mom wants to get anything for Avari for Christmas from there too...
