This coop is for Plumknit Cotton/Wool blend yarn. Please see below for more details on the yarn as well as color choices.

Opens 11/09, closes 12/02
We'll need to order over 500 balls to get this price.
Payments are due Dec 3 by 11:59 pm EST.

Yarn is $2.90/ball, 10 ball minimum. You may mix and match colors for 10.

How to order:
Post your orders to this thread. Use your first post to edit your order or add and delete items. Whatever you have listed on Dec 2nd at 11 pm EST will be your final order.

In the notes section when making payments please specify the colors/amounts you'd like again. I like to check & double check!!

Shipping and fees:
Open to everyone.
You will receive an e-mail with your shipping total once yarn has been sorted and packaged.
You pay actual shipping to your location + $1.00 to cover packing materials.
No other fees.

Cancellations/Refunds:
Orders may be canceled up until 11 pm Dec 2nd.
There will be no cancellations or refunds once the order has been placed.

MORE INFO:
The yarn is soft, fluffy and has a nice drape and comes in 5 colors.
Feels more like wool to me than cotton. Great for sweaters and clothing, hats, bags, blankets, pillows and such.
It is a worsted weight yarn 60% cotton/40% wool.
Put up in 50g balls (1.7 oz). Yardage is 110 yards per ball.
Gauge is 4.5 - 5 st/in on US size 6 - 8 needles.
Here are the colors available:
Pink, Blue, Yellow, Lime & Orange

There are approx. 200 balls of each color avail.
Once a particular color is exhausted I will post that info.
Please order as much as you think you'll like of any particular color as once it's gone, it's gone.

How would you wash yarn like that? I'm looking for yarn to make baby sweaters and things like that out of that is machine washable.

Great questions all.
It hasn't officially opened yet as I'm just gauging interest at this point. But if it's a go I'd like to see it close before the month is out.
The minimum purchase is 10 balls per person. Restated, each participant will be required to order at least 10 balls. I'll need to purchase all of the balls available in each color to get that price. Here is the breakdown of what's available:
Blue: 178 balls
Pink: 200 balls
Yellow: 186 balls
Lime: 195 balls
Orange: 210 balls
You can mix and match colors.
