That is so weird.
When my dh was at tech school in Texas, I sent him a card with pics of the kids, a new debit card (Ours were expiring) and a letter in it. It never got to him. We canceled the card and got a new one. Nearly 3 years later it showed up at our house in Alaska. It had been routed from Texas then to South Carolina, to Utah and to Alaska. 3 years, I was shocked I never thought I'd see that letter. It's insane. So I never completely write things off, you just never know with the USPS.

Now that is truly bizarre Maria!! I thought it was bad when in September I got a notice in my mail slot that I had a package at the PO. Not unusual, I have to go at least 2xs a week to pick things up ... so I get there and guess what it is? A package from Carm/CHHC postmarked late June/early July, almost 3 full months later. What the heck do they do with the package? Where do they go for all that time before they resurface??

Shoot, Jayme - I was just affixing the postage to your box when I realized yoru box is a flat rate box, niot just a regular priority box (I have never seen a FRB that size). So I had to void the label and reprint a new one for a FRB, and the difference is $3.65. It is still going out today, but the new DC# is
