I generally make our xmas gifts for our family, friends, etc. I would really love to make some new things this year  Please post any ideas you've got!
Here are some things that I've made or plan on making:
Gifts in a jar - "premade" baking items minus the wet ingredients. Include a recipe card with directions & ingredients needed to add. Also, snack mixes, trail mix, etc.
Deserts/goodies - different fun indulgences like chocolate covered fruits, candy bars, etc.
Breads/other baked goods
I'm kind of "stuck in a rut" with the food items. I'd love to hear some other options from others.
This year, so far, I'm planning on PJs & aprons.

I am making Scarves for all my northern family and socks for my southern family !
I found an idea online , ill have to go find the website and post it , you take large emplty clean jars and write a cute message on the front , then paint over it with colors you like and the put a flameless candle inside ! It makes cute gifts ... ill post the site in a bit !!!

I used to crochey/knit but I've forgotten most of it. I used to make scarves & hats for friends in the N too!
I like that jar idea! It reminded me of something I've done in the past for DH & might do for the kids or other family - I find a clean jar & decorate it a bit & put scraps of paper inside with messages (think fortune cookies - little paper w/a message & folded in half). Then I write lots of different notes on them... like for DH on an anniversary, I wrote things like "I love you a ton," "Thank you for being you," or any kind of sweet sentiment. I was thinking of doing the same for my mom, mil and maybe kids. Including personal messages & they can take one out every day or for DH's I included a note on his jar that said to read one whenever he was having a bad day.

So far I've got a cardigan done for my grandson and I'm getting close to finishing a cardigan for my granddaughter. Once I finish her cardigan, I'll work on a Zuzu's Petals cowl for my sister. Not sure I'll get more than that done for handmade gifts this year.

| I'm making the kids pj pants, they all need them. The baby "needs" more diapers, lol... Mom, aunt, sister are all getting embroidered unpapertowels, not sure what else. |

I'm using Tunisian crochet to make some really cool wash cloths, and including a bar of Happy Hausfrau soap with each (okay, half a bar, so shoot me.) That's for my family members. Friends get a pretty tin with homemade Christmas cookies.
