Impressing hubby + Helping Sully + Adding to our family

All in one shot! Joyce, oh Joyce, what a wonderfully talented and simply wonderful person. I got in touch of Joyce (Hillcountry Dollmaker for those of you who aren't familiar with her stunning work) to design a very special doll. My Sully is having a very hard time right now, he is currently being tested for ADHD as well as ODD, he has a severe speech delay and is overly aggressive and well just not good with expressing himself. His therapist suggested getting him a doll to care for and to help with expressing himself. Since sully is so very set in his ways I sat down with him and let him pick everything, sure enough Joyce created his exact dream doll. When he arrived my darling but oh so not on my handmade, natural, WAHM supporting page was highly impressed. He looked him all over and said Sully would love him and that the doll is "awesome". Then he wrapped and hid him saying he was too special and needed a special adoption party. And so soon Sullivan will get his new little friend and hopefully develop a nice bond that can help him through these times.

Thank you again Joyce for bring Sully's vision to reality!

Adorable! I can't wait to hear Sully's reaction to getting him. Isn't Joyce just amazing? I'm in awe of her talent!
