I think I would like to "like" a post, without it actually being an actual FB "like", if that makes sense. Sometimes I would like to "like" a post as a way of saying "I agree" or "I like this", but not necessarily something I want to post to Facebook feed, KWIM? Most of my FB friends wouldn't be interested in a forum post.
Also, I know the forums aren't completely private and all, but if someone likes one of my posts, does that mean whatever I wrote gets blasted all over their FB pages? _________________ Kate

I kinda started wondering that too. What if I wrote something in grief and loss or such that was kinda "private" (as you can be on a forum in the interwebzzzz,lol)..and someone liked it...would that allow random people to see it?
....and I am still really freaked out that without me connecting my accounts with a log in or something, FB knows who I am here to be able to post something I like to my page. _________________ ~Nikki

That's a good idea... I'll look into that for future upgrades.
As far as posting to FB, all it posts is a link to the post, not the content of the post. So if it's linked to one of the more private forums like Shop Talk or Grief and Loss, the reader would still have to log in to the forums and have access to that forum in order to read the post.

Nikki, the facebook like button is an embedded web page in what's called an iframe. Essentially, it's a facebook web page that is showing up on Hyena Cart in a tiny frame. That's why, if you're logged in to facebook on the browser you're using, it knows it's you. If you logged out of facebook, the like button wouldn't know who you are. _________________ Don't forget to install the HC Facebook app! HC Store app

ahhhhhh okay that makes sense. I was getting paranoid on how FB possibly could track me here
Also makes sense about having to be logged in here and have access in the forum to what is being posted about.
Thanks for clearing that up! _________________ ~Nikki

oh wait one more Q...if I am using FB as Kobieta and liked a post here would it post it on my Kobieta page?
For example, if someone posted a rave and I wanted it to show on my FB page, if I were on FB as Kobieta would that work? _________________ ~Nikki

I'm barely literate in facebook :P But if you have a personal page associated with your Kobieta account, I think it will show up on that page vs. your fan page (at least, that's what happens when I like a post). _________________ Don't forget to install the HC Facebook app! HC Store app
