I just finished this and it's blocking at the moment. I will add the buttons later, but I just ordered them last night. ( http://hyenacart.com/stores/BellyBellyButtons/index.php?p=74053 ).

Thanks. My daughter is really excited. I made a Lucia for each of her younger sisters and had started a different one for her, but it just wasn't working so I frogged it. She's been not-so-patiently waiting for me to make her one. Now my oldest son is not-so-patiently awaiting something for him, but he's chosen socks. lol

I was torn about getting handmade buttons, but when I looked and saw these, I just thought they were perfect and just the right amount too. Wink .

Plus, as my mom pointed out, after putting the yarn and the time into making it, I really didn't want to put cheap Wal-mart buttons on it. Then I figured that any nice ones I'd get at the store would be as much if not more than the pretty handmade ones so that made the decision easy.

Beautiful work and what a pretty pattern! Any chance you are allowed to say for whom you tested this pattern? *batting eyes to see if my charm works to get a favorable response*

Are the buttons you got going to be pink as in the pic or are you having the color changed? I think the pink buttons would be pretty. Wink

Thanks!

The buttons will be just as pictured. I *think* I bought them instock. (I hope).

The pattern is by Agnes Kutas and is called Rosebud Cardigan. It will be available May 1st on Ravelry. She has a lot of beautiful designs.
