I'm going to go ahead and start a new thread. The PP talked about a yarn box swap but shipping a box of yarn around would get very expensive plus someone would have to start it. I'm thinking run this like the Craft and Craft Supply swap. Here's the link if you are not familiar with it. http://hyenacart.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=157243 I'm thinking intervals of $10 that way people can participate with store bought yarn too. If there is enough interest I'll ask for permission to run this.

I would be in or what about one of those yarn ball swamps where you put little items in the yarn? Or are you just wanting a straight yarn swap? Either way I am in.

I'm thinking more of a swapping for something you'd rather have kind of swap. For example I know a lot of dyers are doing customs based on pictures and sometimes people love them and sometimes it's just not what they pictured. This would be a chance to maybe trade for something you love. I won't be limiting this to only handdyed yarn though. I use a lot of store bought yarn for stuff for my kids and often have extra that I can't use but someone with a smaller baby maybe able to.

| I'd love to be in too! I've got leftover skeins of yarn from projects that I overbought for that I just don't feel like knitting up any more. Can we also use this swap for scraps? Maybe if we bundle the same type of scraps together? |

This swap has been approved! I'll work on getting the thread up and stickied later while the kids are napping, if they nap  or tonight. Everyone start getting your yarn together. Take pictures if you can so people can really see what they'd be getting. At the least try and find links to what you have. I'm not sure how long I'm going to keep this open yet but I'll be sure to give everyone plenty of time to complete their list. Also, if you would like to incluse an ISO list go ahead and start thinking about that too.
