**borrowed this from last swap, if you have questions or need clarification post or PM me ***
***ALSO - Any WAHM's that want to offer a discount for this swap please PM me***
This swap is for items you make or new craft supplies that you purchase.
We wanted to make sure that everybody could play even those that don't craft, so they can can purchase yarn, make a knitting kit, cook me fudge, etc. If you are purchasing items, you will want to wait until the matches are made since that may or may not get chosen.
It is a reverse swap meaning people choose the items they want to receive.
Email form to sgraha@twcny.rr.com
Sign ups will be open until April 13th forms will be due by the 15th at noon hc time, items need to be postmarked by May 29th (unless you note differently when you post the item). Please use dc when shipping. If you are outside or from of the Us, that is fine, just make sure you have proof of shipping.
Swaps need to be valued between $15 and $20 before shipping. If you have something that is valued at $40 you can count it as two swaps and if it is valued at $60 as three swaps and so on.
shipping -- On shipping. Everybody pays to ship their packages out.
If the item you are shipping will weigh a lot more than other packages, feel free to ccmpute what you figure the difference would be into a swap value.
For example let's guess that most packages will be $3 to ship. You are shipping a lb. and a half of fudge that will cost you $5.00 to ship. Add $2 to your retail to figure your swap value.
When you sign up. Create a list of the items you have to offer along with whether they count as 1, 2, 3, etc. swaps. If you have pictures include them or links. Make sure the pictures aren't too big.
When it is time to choose, you will make a list of what items you want to receive. The longer you make your list the easier you make swapping for me and the more likely I will be to give you as many swaps as you want. I will try to get everybody one of there top three choices. If though your top two or three choices are from the same person I count them as one choice. So a better way to word it would be I try to get everybody a choice from one of the first three people they listed. You must have at least 4 choices on your list if you want to participate once and 2 more for each additional time you want to participate.
You can participate up to three times.
If an item will take longer to make than the swap timeline, put that info next to the item.
Feel free to ask me any questions.
Make sure and review the rules of participating in swaps.
Here would be some examples
1. handknit longies with your yarn (triple swap -- will take 3 weeks once I receive the yarn )
2. I will purchase a skein of sock yarn for you from your etsy favorite list (single swap)
3. Learn to bind book kit with instructions (double swap)
4. Homemade fudge (single swap)
also feel free to include an iso list

Fill out the whole form, please. At the very least write down na. Do not leave any question blank or tell me to refer to your sign up post.
I do not look at the posts to make matches, but the forms. I don't care if you wrote the info in your post, I need it in the form, too. If you don't care write that down. If you leave it blank I don't know if you did it on purpose or accident.
Swap Form: Email this to me at sgraha@twcny.rr.com after the swap is closed.
HC name --
Real name --
Email --
Address --
How many times would you like to participate and how many of them can be singles, doubles or triples(limit of 3)? --
If needed can you particapate more than 3 and what is your max?--
The limits on certain packages you have --fill this out if you have limits as to how many of each package, so you don't end up with more than you can do you must fill this out, whether it is in your post or not --
Is there anybody you do not want to give to or receive from? (no reason is necessary and I will not share this information)--
List all the packages you are willing to receive. Include the persons hc id, package name or number, and if it is a single, double, or triple swap. Make your list in the order you would like to receive. Try to include as many as possible to make the matches easier for me to make. To particpate once you must list at least 4 (and they can't be all from the same person), to participate twice at least 6, and 3 times at least 8.

if there are lots of people offering fudge, list all of them and then make a note that you only want to receive one package of fudge or whatever else that you may list duplicates of
If you have more than 15, that is fabulous. The longer the list the easier you make my life.
You must list at the very least 4 packages you are willing to receive.
Can you ship outside of the US.--

*Final - I didn't get a chance to get a picture of my available velour but i can say the only "boy" colors i have are lime green, black & a blue/purple LWI dye. I also have a lot of natural OBV that i could use that would be very gender neutral*
Single Swaps -
Set of 4 key fobs - surprise colors & patterns. Heavy webbing topped with decorative ribbon or fabric. These make great last minute gifts
Set of 2 Boxers - made with fabrics in my stash taking into consideration likes/dislikes - sizes 2/3, 4/5 or 6/7
Set of 3 Underwear - made with fabrics in my stash taking into consideration likes/dislikes - sizes 2, 4, 6 or 8

Girls Banded Tank Top - Size 2T through 10. made with fabrics in my stash taking into consideration likes/dislikes.

how it looks with my unappreciative 5 year old
Girls Nightgown Size 2T through 6. Made from fabrics in my stash taking into consideration likes/dislikes. Can be short or long sleeve.

Set of 2 Pillowcases - made from 100% cotton woven fabric. you give me ideas of likes/dislikes and i will choose fabrics based on your theme ideas.
Set of 12 unpaper towels - will be 100% cotton woven print backed with either birdseye or flannel fabric.
Simple Girls Peasant Style Dress - Size 6 months - 4. You tell me likes/dislikes and i will choose fabric. (i actually have enough to do one in the fabric in the first picture if desired)

Double Swaps -
Layette set - OBV or cotton velour currently in my stash - will get picture of what i have - I have mostly girly colors, i do have a large amount of natural color and i do have a couple things that would be boy - lime green, black and a blue/purple LWI, pretty sure everything else is girly.
Will consist of knot top hat, crossover top & pants. 0-3 months up to 12 month size
Girls Peasant Style Apron Dress w/ applique'd apron. You choose size girls 6 months - 10. Short sleeve or 3/4 bell sleeve. You give me ideas of likes/dislikes colors and patterns. Also give me idea of theme for applique.

Flat Rate Envelope (US only) of 100% cotton woven fabric. Will use a padded flat rate envelope and stuff it full of 100% cotton woven fabrics. This will at least fat quarter size, and more likely be 1/2 yard to 1 yard in size. Will be a surprise but you can give me an idea of likes/dislikes. I can usually get 3-4 yards in a flat rate envelope and this will be designer fabrics, no junk fabric.
Triple Swaps -
Flat Rate Box of girl knit print fabrics. Will be all girl prints. Mostly baby and toddler prints. No older girl stuff. Will be yardage pieces of at least 1/2 yard in size, up to pieces 2 yards in size. Will be a total of 6-8 yards of fabric depending on what i can stuff in the box.
Quintuple Swap -
Baby Quilt - Crib Size - we will work together to pick the perfect fabric and pattern for your baby quilt. I will ask many question regarding what your preferences are for fabrics but final purchase of fabric will be made by me. Will use only 100% cotton quilting quality fabric. Will be layered with cotton warm and natural batting. Quilted on machine. This swap may take longer than the ship by date by as much as one additional month, please take that into consideration. Will only do 1 of these.
