For the past couple of years I have bought logs of Basmati Rice goats milk soap from Faithacre Farm Goods. It's the only soap my hubby uses. I tried emailing her and haven't gotten a response so I assume she's not doing it anymore. sob

I knew this day would come (and now I have to hoard my last 2 bars). So it's time to look for someone new. Who do you like?

They were a seconds batch, so I'll share with you FFS since Tara was a real sweetie and discounted them so much due to a problem with the batch - but they still function perfectly!

Last time I spoke with her was a few months ago - she was still talking about getting her Etsy page up and at em' back then, maybe situation has changed for her. I'll be sad if she stops making soaps!

BUT... We are having a coop in our coop forum right now with RELAX. I use her soaps and they are fantastic. We have loaves of soap for sale there. You make them how you want them choose your scent, choose your ingredient preferences, color preferences, cut preferences. $25 for the loaf. They loaf makes 8 bars and that's about $3.13 a bar Wink

So those 3 are my favorites. I have bars from other businesses too, I very rarely run into soap makers here that make a bad bar. Most use the cold press method. Here are a few other good soaps I own:

My favorite soap is from Chrissy at The Happy Hausfrau here on HC. We'll be running a co-op with her at the end of March. You can choose soaps by the bar or per loaf and you can make the ones per loaf custom.

Natural Madison has great soap. I liked Lautzy too, but I guess she's closed? and Earth Muffin, but I haven't bought any of hers for a while.
