My daughter is having a fairy themed birthday party next weekend and I have procrastinated shopping for a dress. I fear it is way to late to have anything custom made and am wondering if I can do it myself.
I'm wondering how difficult, time consuming, and expensive this is. I do not sew, but have friends that can help me do any finishing touches.
Is there a good tutorial anywhere? Where do you buy tulle and can you buy it by the yard? Any tips? Anyone with a lot of tulle and a lot of free time this weekend? _________________ Angela

Can you see my etsy faves through this link? I am looking for something long and flowy, not short and projectile. Either skirt or dress would work. These are the last few I've found that are lovely. I can't seem to find any ready made. I love a rainbow of bright colors. _________________ Angela

Not hard at all, IMO. Here is the link to a tutorial Sarah (SGRAHA) sent me a couple years ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7aSPMEn7S0 _________________ Allison

Tutuss are pretty simple to make. A hint for the tulle - if you look in the wedding supply section you can find rolls of tulle - much easier than cutting tulle that is off a bolt! _________________
