Becky, I can do a $20 Munkit & Blue GC as well.
I got my package from Kate today and I love it all. I'm going to be knitting a pair of Hedera socks. I will post more details when I'm not on my phone. _________________ Kari

I'm looking forward to it! It's the pattern that made me want to learn to knit socks and I haven't ever had a yarn in my stash that I loved for the pattern...until now.
Sorry the picture sucks. Using my phone is the fastest way to actually post pics instead of just talking about them.
I got a knitting row counter bracelet (so now I only need like 6 more!!), 2 cute little soaps (which are perfect for my downstairs bathroom), milk chocolate sugar scrub (which smells good enough to eat), the Hedera pattern, TIG Adorn sock in "McNamara" (the picture is terribly inaccurate), and Knit in Comfort (which looks like a great read). I couldn't be any happier with my package! Thank you so much, Kate. Everything is perfect. _________________ Kari

I'm glad you like it Kari! I picked that pattern out of your queue because of the name. Hedera is the latin name for Ivy and being a horticulturalist, I just had to go with that. I used to work at a greenhouse that grew nothing but ivy! _________________ Kate

I'm heading to the PO with Rachel's and BJ's packages right now. Both are going priority, so hopefully you'll get them on Saturday! _________________ Kari

Mine is running late, since I failed to click the last checkout screen on etsy. I've pmed the person I'm sending to. I will send it out as soon as the main part arrives, unless my recipient wants the goodies first. _________________ Janine

Bj sent me the LazyKaty shawl pattern! I haven't received my yarn yet but I'm looking at the pattern and just - whoa! It says it's an easy knit, but it looks pretty intense, and - IT'S ALL CHARTING OH MAN I'VE NEVER USED A CHART BEFORE. I always memorize the pattern in my head as written because I get my "left" and my "right" confused when it's not words (which is why I can't read Hebrew to save my life).
Holy mother of challenge. I'll keep you posted. _________________ Elly

I CO the other night. I've been averaging one leaf a night. I have to do it while the kids are sleeping so I can keep track of everything, but it's a fun challenging knit and I'm learning a lot about increases & decreases!

Kate, something that helped me when doing the Saroyan was taking a Post-It note and "underlining" the row I was working. When you get to the straight section, it's super easy because there aren't any increases in the body - just the leaves - and after awhile, the leaves will be second nature.
Good luck! Looks great so far! _________________ Elly

That looks really good so far! Sometimes those darn leaves take forever, I swear- I'm working on a Cedar Leaf Shawlette where you knit the body and then knit the leaves on at the end and the leaves took me longer than the body of the shawl did. _________________ Kari
