Little boys have a blast....
And so do big ones...
Kisses are had...
Mamas are spoiled (Red + Monroe = one happy lady)
Crafts are made (isn't that bird fabric the best?!)
Furniture is bought
First of all, we got all this when we went to Ikea for a roller blind and fabric to do the same thing as above to the kitchen window. We have a problem. Second of all, Two weeks ago this room had a Walmart wooden table and four chairs in it. We've gone a little crazy. We still need two other red chairs on the other side, a huge black Ikea clock on the right side of the curtains and a lot of black and white photos on the right wall. The curtains also need to be sewn. The fabric and sewing machine are just hanging out till then.
All that was in this side of the room was the tv stand (and a much smaller TV. another side effect of post deployment.  ), the curtains, and the couch. In about 6 weeks, our new red couch and love seat will be here from AAFES and as soon as we find the perfect one, a nice BIG brown leather ottoman.
And finally after multiple attempts to grow plants around the house while he was gone, Daddy finally tells Mommy she can't grow a damn thing and buys her fake plants.
Hope you enjoyed a random night in our house. I haven't really pulled the camera out since Rick came home and it felt good to.

Thanks guys. I demanded we buy those glasses today and the three of them had a blast with them. Catching Evan wearing them was a one in a million chance too...I love how playful he's becoming these days.
Lori, I never realized how much I like red furniture. Thankfully the dining room and living room are one big long room that stretch from end to end of the house so once it was all together I looked around and it hit me. I promised the husband no more red rooms. For now.

Nice, we love IKEA to. It's the best. We especially love the as is section. I like the wall hanging, you go the birds fabric at IKEA? I wouldn't have though of doing that but it looks really nice.
