PICTURES on P 3 Puppy name help!

Unplanned puppy parenthood... I'll explain my impulsive move when not on my phone... But we need name help for a boy Brittany Spaniel (liver/white colour). Our old fellow was Briar and I'd like a nature/ bird dog sort of name. DH refusesto use my pick of Bramble.

Ok at the keyboard now Smile

We have a festival in town today.
Ro & I spot a beautiful little brittany and run over to meet her (and her owbner).
Turns out she is not just adorable but a direct relation to Briar (whom we lost in July at age 12). AND that she had puppies in the spring AND one buyer fell through and there is a 3 month old boy at the breeder's (Briar's breeder). Now I have always LOVED this breeders dogs and her ethics and I called her up, just to see. Sure enough, a liver boy needs a home.

One reason we said we weren't going for another dog (or a Brittany, which we want again) was the running/ sporting nature and our location. However, the breeder was breeding field dogs 12 years ago~ the kind that hit the ground running and run for miles~ now she is breeding much 'closer' dogs still with the instinct but without the big drive. The mom of the pup is a very close dog and this pup is living in the house at the breeders and so far is very close, too. Plus we have Archie to set the example and herd the running away out of him lol3

We totally weren't looking for a second dog, though i knew we would get there in time. Bu tthis seems like meant to be Wink

So we are picking him up tomorrow (good thing I just happen to have everything brittany sized still in the house!).

And we are going to have to live on dog food for a few months to make up for the expense, but I don't mind.
