I swore I wouldn't watch this season, but it's 8 minutes in to the first show and I've already been sucked into the drama. confused

I'm just a big ol' Bachelor/Bachelorette fan, so it didn't matter to me who was this season's Bachelorette, I'd watch...which I did. Ali sure seemed different to me in this first episode than the person I remember her being on the Bachelor. Anybody else see her differently, too?

If you mean fake, then yes. lol

It was like she did a 180. I got tired of hearing "awesome" every 2 minutes. I still don't like her- at least since the episode last season when she went "home" to her hotel.

LOL! Necia!! I had to stop and think for a moment who you were taking about. Then it dawned on me that it was from the first episode, not last night. And I agree with both of you...I don't think I would want to tell a story like that to someone I was TRYING TO IMPRESS at the first chance I had to talk with them...not to mention that he had to know the cameras were rolling, so millions of viewers would hear that story, as well! Disbelief

I'm with you, Kari...it was good to see Craig M. go...he was toxic! My guess is that deep down he's insecure and finding someone to bully and pick on is his way of trying to boost himself up in front of others. Unfortunately, it actually has the opposite effect. He also couldn't tell Ali that he was definitely interested in her and wanted to stay for that reason when she asked him point blank. I think that's why Ali sent him home....he didn't seem to be there for genuine reasons.

Anyone have someone - or maybe a few - picked out for Ali yet? I like Justin, Roberto, Frank, Ty (isn't he the one from TN who played the guitar for her on the beach?).

"Weatherman" (can't recall his name at the moment) is a nice guy, but I don't think he's got the right personality for Ali.

my husband is obsessed with that show. he makes me watch it. i dont like Ali, i think shes soo fake. but alas, my husband thinks shes hot so we have to watch it Sad

Jonathan (the weatherman) seems like he'll be psychotic before the end of the season. I think it's great that he's watching out for Ali (much in the same way that Ali was watching out for Jake last season), but he's coming off as a little bit crazy at the same time.

I again agree with who Ali let go and who is staying.

What are everyone's thoughts with Justin's long walk down to Ali's house? I know all the guys were upset with him for *stealing* more time with Ali than was supposed to be, but it sure was a move that showed Ali he was serious about winning her.

What was with Jonathan and the kissing scene they were to do for the music video? What the heck was he so nervous about? I understand being nervous doing it in front of the other guys, but to that extent? Sheesh!! Any guy would normally be ecstatic to have a kissing scene with the woman whose heart he's trying to win.

I really liked Hunter and I was sad to see him go. I didn't really have a preference for either of the other 2 guys though.

I don't trust Justin. I might trust him more if he had just flat out said that he hiked up to Ali's that day, instead of how he hinted at it from when he got back until all the other guys found out before the rose ceremony. The whole thing just really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Jonathan is crazy. I think that's all there is to it. lol

Ali is annoying, but I am sucked into the show yet again.

I also do not trust Justin, but it has more to do with an article I read in Intouch magazine than what he has said on the show. scold

It is weird to see the "weatherman" on the show. He is one of our local weathermen, so the new way of seeing him on TV is strange to me.
