How to get someone banned from Facebook?

Drama. I'm so sick of it. My ex (Angi's Dad), married a nut job after we got divorced. They have been married 3 times, divorced 2 times. They are once again seperated. She is clinically mentally ill. Diagnosed mentally ill. Bipolar, maybe, I'm not sure. She has been in jail numerous times. She is not allowed to come anywhere near 2 out of their 3 children. I have no idea why she is able to have contact with the 3rd.

After our divorce, Angi's Dad left for 2 years and no one could find him. One night, out of the blue, he showed up at my door at 10:30 at night demanding to see Angi. I will never forget it. It was one of those really, reallly hot, humid summer nights and I was quite pg with Zandria. Jim had just left for work. I assume Jay waited until he left. He was banging on the door, throwing rocks up to the second floor at my patio door, screaming obsenities. Needless to say, I called Jim and told him to get back NOW and called the cops. Jay had a warrant for something so they took him away. Thank God Angi was sleeping and heard none of it. Within that same month we were back in child support court. He was still in jail. Even with the police report and everything I told them, the judge told me there was no way he was denying Jay visitation rights and I should be ashamed of myself for asking for supervised visitation. I was floored. In that hearing is when I found out he was married. I had no idea she was a nut job until I was forced to let him take Angi on a visit a few weeks later. He brought her back within an hour. Angi was crying and really upset. She was about 6 or 7 at the time. That nutcase he was married to called my little girl every swear word in the book and pulled her across the kitchen by her hair. I wanted to throw up when I found out. I called the cops to report it. Nothing came of it. It was all denyed by both of them and since they couldnt' prove it, it was thrown out. Again, I could NOT believe it. I didn't care what happened to me after that, I did not allow her to go back on visits until he divorced her.

We haven't heard from her in years. Then, the other day, she sent Angi a really nasty message on facebook. When I say nasty, I mean NASTY. She reported it and all FB said was that they wouldn't allow her to have contact with Angi. Today, she sent Greg (Angi's boyfriend) a really nasty message and one of the things she said was that Liam was not Greg's child. I just laughed at that since there is a dna test proving it. But, now Angi is really spooked and upset. She doesn't want that woman to have any contact with her or anyone she knows and she's really afraid of her coming after her or finding someone else to do it for her. At the very least, she wants her banned from FB. How hard is it to get someone banned from FB?

Somedays I feel like this life I'm living can't possibly be real. I have to be living in a really bad B movie.

I know one can "unfriend" someone, but even if that is done, a message can still be sent. I don't know if there is any way to completely block someone from contacting you or seeing any of your information.

Because we are in this age of the internet and being able to contact people via this medium, there are laws allowing law enforcement to act on things such as internet harrassment. This may be something Angi and Greg could look into, since they have both received nasty, harrassing messages from her. They should hopefully have saved her messages on FB so there is proof of what was said and from whom.

The only other option may be to contact FB again and let them know that the contacts are continuing and they would like help in making sure this woman has no way of contacting them again or seeing info about them.

I checked the FB help center, they said that you should block them (I think she's already been blocked by Angi). In the event that they are then harassing someone else, they should block the harasser too. Hopefully, if there are enough blocks/reports, FB will do something more.

FB banned this person from contacted Angi and did whatever they had to so she couldn't contact her. I'm sure they will do the same with Greg. I know her well enough to know she will go through everyone Angi knows until she is blocked from everyone. I just hope she doesn't get to our elderly relatives who aren't internet/FB savvy. She has been in so much trouble all her life that I suppose I could make a phone call to the PD in her county and they would at least talk to her. I have relatives on the PD where she lives. The only problem is that she is Indian and lives on an Indian Reservation, so sometimes there are things the PD can do nothing about.

From past experience with a court order, I would say, her county. With her being Indian and living on the reservation, Angi might want to talk to the tribal police and see what they suggest.

HUGS Lisa and Angi. I'm not sure how far advanced the laws for Cyber Stalking have gotten, but you might want to check into that.

I'm assuming, please correct me if I'm wrong, you guys belong to the same Indian tribe or have connections to the reservation. Can you guys go to the Elders and have something done along the lines of a no-contact order with them as well?

unfortunately, even if facebook was to ban her from harassment, it takes 5 minutes to create a new email address and re-sign back up with Facebook. You could keep records of all this contact and sue her for harassment if it was to continue.

Facebook just banned my friend's (soon to be ex) husband's girlfriend for sending a really nasty message. I'd report it, state it was the second time she did something like this, and say it's harassment.
