My mom treated me to some money for Mother's Day and I'm actually in the city for once! I wandered around for hours yesterday, but I never buy anything for me, and it's too much pressure! What would you get if you were let loose in the city with a small sum of cash...

I treated myself to a lululemon hoodie... a thick and warm one that I can wear as a jacket in the evenings or pretty much every day for the next few years.

Shoes, handbag, a funky piece of jewelry, summer hat. It is hard sometimes to buy yourself something. Since money is tight right now, I have a list going of things I want. So when DH gives me extra money I can pick something from the list.

I would go to the Maiwa shop at Granville Island and check out their stuff. I've been dying to look at their button collection, but they're supposed to have all sorts of cool things.

Since I'm getting back in shape, I'd get some clothes that are comfy to work out in. Other than that, I have no clue. I never know what to get myself. lol

I was in Victoria, but I LOVE the button shop in Granville Island!!! I ended up finding an amazing fibre store and quilting shop downtown. The fibre shop I wandered around for about 30 minutes petting things... I bought some batts of roving and some fabric to make an apron!

There are some great fabric stores in Victoria. Well, at least I found some great fabrics there. I didnt go into the yarn store, but walked by.
