I had asked Nikki if she could do a dress for me in a style she had done before. And being her wonderful self she agreed. And then I fell in love with two very different fabric prints. So I ended up with a dress and a top!  The sewing is wonderful, the straps do NOT fall off my shoulder, so comfortable. Even DH, who can be difficult and doesn't love patterns in general, loved the clothing. And said they are very flattering.
Here's the top, in Jane Sassaman's Strawberry Teasel & Lace.
