Hey guys! just wondering if any of you are having issues with paypal? I have an etsy customer that cant seem to get paypal working.

There is a note on Etsy whenyou checkout saying there are issues (for Canadians) ~ but I don't know much more other than yes, there are some problems.

The only problem I've had lately is that I am unable to do a direct transfer from my bank account when I send a payment - its only allowing an e cheque. This has NEVER been an issue - so I'm totally confused.
I made a couple of purchases at HC this week and had no issues though.

Has the credit card attached to your account expired? I haven't had any issues - but I haven't tried buying from Etsy yesterday.

it comes straight out of my bank account, and I've never had an issue... I'll check the credit card, that is a possibility although unlikely.

I read this it has to do with credit cards. I just paid for an Etsy transaction with funded with no issues at all.

Yup, it's a CC/Etsy issue... Maybe you could just invoice her instead of going through the etsy checkout?

yeah I invoiced her and she has the same issue... hmmm. And yes she is trying to use a CC... then she tried her Debit.

I've had 3 clients of mine not be able to pay through a PP invoice the past few months. Most people can, I don't know if they just can't figure it out or what!

yup,.... I couldn't use instant transfer to pay Jodi from Crunchy,... there was NOTHING wrong with the CC on my acocunt and hour long conversation with Paypal reps did nothing,... was very very frustrating,... However,... I did an E-check for that transaction and I haven't had an issue using instant transfers since,.....
SO FREAKING FRUSTRATING,... soon as I have an option to pay using something other then Paypal,.. they can kiss my big canadian butt!!

yes, there's something going on. I did have a Cdn. customer who couldn't pay through Etsy (I'm also in Canada). I had to send her an invoice through PP and that did work. I don't understand the problem but there is one
