Sewing Idea Help??

Hi Mamas-
I need some suggestions for this OBV that I bought.

I bought a yard of the burgundy and orange stripes and half a yard of orange to match. I know it is an odd color combination but they are the colors for my husband's alma matre, Virginia Tech. I want to make something for DD and possible something for DH to match any suggestions?

I am a decent sewer...nothing too fancy though Smile

Hats? A diaper for DD? A skirt for her? I'm out of ideas for for your DH. I can't really think of something small enough...

I was thinking a skirt for her too...possibly a matching hat too. The only thing I have come up with for DH is boxers which is not something that will be able to "match".
