what's your favorite soaker pattern? Free or bought. I don't imagine I'd be doing any skirties but I guess if the pattern was simple enough and didn't use require a bunch of extra wool I'd think about a skirtie option too.

LOL how can i get outta this one without a new title. um...yes, i like the ribbing...it realy allows for a lot of stretch in there, especially for the thicker diapers. you can do the hybrid rib soaker if you want a pull-on.

the crotch is really awesome.

Ditto to what the rib queen said LOL I've used both when my son was a bitty and I just LOVE them. They made up most of my stash back then.

it's to do the gussets along the leg. you're basically creating a bit o' fabric down by the crotch/leg area. i'm trying to think if you could also knit that bit. you probably could...i'll have to think abuot it though. LOL

I have also done, and am not fond of:
vanilla (just don't like the knitting of it) ltk regular soaker-felt the fit was horrible

I think you will love it! It seriously is such an easy pattern and I love the no short rows (although you can add them in!) but with the way it is constructed, you don't HAVE to have them.

If I had any more babies I would be making a ton of these! And I did make one into a skirty!
