so do you do that process twice? like you make it single ply on the first pass and then you ply two of the strands you spun together to make it look like that?

Shanna instead of drafting a lot you can split the fiber thinner then you don't have that much drafting to do, just saying It looks great btw

Yup, on my new wheel. I couldn't get the hang on spinning on a spindle.
