When and where purchased:

Trade initiated in December 2009 on diaperswappers

Specific item:
s fleece longie/shirt sets for my son
1 fleece longie/shirt sets for my daughter

Customer service:

Initially she was very nice and responded to PMs quickly. The shipping date came, I sent my items and she did not. She ended up (without telling me) waiting until she received my item to ship. Although my item was received by her the next day after I shipped it (she received it on Dec 11th)....she did not ship until the 17th. 11 days later she said the package was returned to her with postage due. It took another 5-6 days to ship after that.

Product review:

Items are not sewn well. Crooked, inconsistent. Matching thread not used on one pair of pants. Fleece is very thin, I don't trust it will work as a diaper cover for my son.

The hips are too small on my son's pairs (both). They fit over a sposie, but won't fit over a cloth diaper (especially since a cover will be needed).

The rise for my daughter's pants is 3 inches too big. Which makes them come up to her chest.

Appliques on shirts are not sewn on, she says she used an "applique maker". They look like they will fray with the first washing (appliques are using flannel fabric).

Appliques are also not cut out well.

I asked for a yoga band waist, she said that's how she always makes them. What I got was elastic waist. She used very thin elastic, which cuts into the belly, and it is not "no-roll", so its all twisted in there after one use.

When and where purchased:

Trade initiated in December 2009 on diaperswappers

Specific item:
3 knit scarves

Customer service:

Initially she was very nice and responded to PMs quickly. Then as the shipping date approached pm's went unanswered. I was feeling like something was not right so I let her know I'd need 2 more days to ship and asked for her addy again. She pm'd it back right away. When I inquired when my side may ship I never heard back. I decided not to ship my side as it was seeming destined to be a trade gone bad. I did let her know and never heard a thing until a month later. She pm'd me offering excuses and asking to not hold it against her. I did not respond.

Product review:

nothing to review

When and where purchased:

Yarn for hat/scarf swap first posted on HC in November, 2009

Specific item:

Hudson Hat

Customer service:

Very poor in general. Responses have been slow or non-existent. It has taken over a year for me to receive the item with a lot of excuses along the way. I had written the hat off at this point and was surprised by a PM saying it was in the mail so I will give her credit for sending me something in the end.

Product review:

Very poor. In the first place, I was promised a hudson hat. I received a stocking hat. The yarn I had sent to be knit was, apparently, damaged along the way so replacement yarn was purchased. I had sent HC quality wool yarn. I received a hat knit from cheap acrylic yarn. The knitting itself is okay but the item is not what was promised and the yarn is in no way equivalent to what was sent.
