This was a quickie, one week, it just closed on 11/4 and the order's been submitted. The thread is a Sticky near the top of this forum.

I don't mind coordinating more in the future, but it probably won't be in time for the holidays now.

I just tried to place an order with Trendy Blanks, and they no longer carry AA.

I still have a wholesale account with AA directly, but ordering from them is not going to be quite as cheap as going through Trendy Blanks (unless you order in the dozens -- per piece the price is higher).

You can still order by the piece, but the price doesn't go down until you order a full dozen of a single size/color/style.

For example, with Trendy Blanks the price of a 4007 long-sleeve lap tee in white was $4.25 once we hit the 36+ pieces and got the discount pricing.

With AA directly, the price for a 4007 white tee is $5.35, and that price doesn't change unless you order a dozen at a time in one size. You can order 100 other pieces, but your white tee is still going to be $5.35.

Now, that said, if you have the means to order by the dozen you will get an even sweeter deal -- $3.45 per shirt if you order 12 at once. It's just that most of us work on such a small scale that we can't afford to order that many at once, can't work with that many at once.

Anyway, the difference seems to be maybe a dollar or two higher from AA directly, so maybe it would still be worth it to people to order through a wholesale coop. (Retail price on the 4007 tee I mentioned would be $12.) Or maybe we could get something going where we could split up dozens. I'm not in need of anything else at the moment but I'd be willing to think about it for the spring.

I'd definitely be interested in a wholesale co-op, even if I have to buy a dozen of the same size. I'm working with Rabbit Skins right now, and it's really making me miss my AA shirts.

I'd be interested in the a wholesale co-op too. I think it'll still be worth paying the extra dollar compared to retail.

Will anyone run an AA co-op soon? I'd be in for about 15 pieces... different styles, sizes & colours though.

I've been thinking about it!

My son's birthday party is tomorrow but if I can get through that in one piece, I'd like to get organized and do another soon! Let me talk to Bonnie about getting it going maybe early this coming week?


We can definitely do different styles and colors, that won't be an issue, it's just cheaper in quantity. I know I'll be ordering a few styles in white, several of each size, so if other people want the same maybe we can get to a dozen on those.
