Please do! I haven't even cast on yet I thought I was going to last weekend, but it's already Wednesday! I've spent all my free time this week designing something new
Tomorrow though! Tomorrow for sure. Mama's birthday is coming up and I don't like to be rushed. |
Yes Mimi, please do. And Carina, how exciting! I cannot wait to see your new design. _________________ Jennifer-

Now,.. i'm eyeing up my MM that just came in,... thinking I will try one of those colors in a large but, I have no matching trim,... hmmm |
You made it through the drops then Feels so wrong in a good way I think But then again, I'm a reckless frogger with no remorse. |
Well,... I wasn't sure I liked it at first as I was dropping the stitches but, once I got through the drops and back into the garters,... I could "see" the vision.... I just wasn't feeling the whole wonky messy stiched but, a couple rows past and it look lovely.... glad I kept knitting because I was trying to think of froggin back and leaving out the drop stitch rounds.... glad I didn't...!! |
Once you block the drop stitches they grow and look pretty. I think i would go crazy if I had to do that drop stitch scarf thing. _________________ Christina: Wifey to Mike. Mama to Spencer (9), Gavin (6) and Mattingly Grace (3). |

I might hop on board... I have to find a decent yarn. A friend of mine just experienced an unexpected loss for a pregnancy she didn't know she had, and it's been tough on her and her husband.
Any yarn suggestions? I'm thinking of Kool-Aid dying my own. _________________ Elly

3 ply like the purewool? I think it would be ok. Might get pilly if it's used a lot though. Ellyll would be awesome, do it! _________________ Christina: Wifey to Mike. Mama to Spencer (9), Gavin (6) and Mattingly Grace (3). |

same needle size that the pattern recommends... US 10's.... I like the pattern,.. the shawl has looser airier feel to it... but, I could be talking out my butt becasue it's the only one I have knits but, I intended this to be more of a scarf then a shawl and I think the lighter feel willbe nice up and around the neck. _________________ ~Melanie

Also, I dyed yarn for someone who did this with Gaia worsted and it turned out really pretty, it's the same ypp as LT. |
I did a small on 24" needles. It was a bit squished onto the needles toward the end but all was well. I originally had it on my next size up needle (60") and was going batty. _________________ Sweetie to awesome DH and wrangler of the dynamic duo , , and the dynamic duo 2.0 (twin sisters)

I did a large on my 40" so I think you should be ok. _________________ Jennifer-
