Ok, looks like I'm making two of these... I just got completely sucked into this: https://www.littleknits.com/proddetail.php?prod=MalabrigoCHUNKYCinnabarINV

With the code "malabrigo" (no quotes), it takes 42% off. So with UPS shipping it came to $43 for 5 skeins. :D

Oh that would be amazing!!

Found it in UK for pennies more too :D Safer to pay that little extra than risk customs so I'm going for that! Hopefully I'll be c/o very soon!

I'm going by the BM yarn shop in town this afternoon (what a better excuse to leave work early?) and see what they have! She usually has some really pretty yarns!

I'm in waiting for yarn to get delivered. I got Knit Picks Cadena (75% wool, 25% alpaca) in Mist. I'm waiting for it to get delivered. I should be able to start this weekend! Smile

I just did this for the first time on a hat that I'm working on right now. I think I had to try like a billion times before getting it almost right...then when it came time to use the secondary edge I had to go and turn half the loops around the right way...but I got it to work....wasn't looking forward to doing it again though...

I'll tell you the cast on was much harder than cables~ cables are just a slipp off and back on of stitches Smile
