|

Exactly as it sounds,.. you come up with a swap package all about where you are from,... can include anything from, postcards, T-shirts, specialty craft from your area, specialty food made in your area,.. book or legends about your town, state, province or Country. Maps, spoons, mugs, wool, recipies, pictures, get creative in sharing "where I'm from" with your swap partner!!
Start small (think local) and end Big (provincial/state and country).
***If you recently relocated or have moved,... do where you are from and where you are now or whichever you are most comfortable sharing with your partner.
Our Hyenas come from so many wonderful locations we are all bound to get some interesting things and learn stuff about other locations.
All swapping rules and guidelines as follows

Can you ship out of country/International? - Yes
A couple countries or locations you would like/ be interested to receive from: I would love to receive something from someone in another country, that would be my first preference, but someone that is not in the northeastern US would be fine as a second choice
A list of things you collect or would be interested in receiving from another location: If patchouli is from your area, please dont' send it. Or white chocolate, that should not be allowed to be called chocolate (or milk chocolate for that matter, lol). I am not a knickknack type of person either. We love learning about other regions and countries so are open to pretty much anything else

A couple countries or locations you would like/ be interested to receive from: Ireland, Germany, Australia, England. If in US: North or West. Anywhere.
A list of things you collect or would be interested in receiving from another location: No knick knacks please. We also do no like things too strongly scented or nuts in things. Nuts are ok by themselves, I just don't like them in other things. I wear a small T-shirt, kids are 3T and 12-18 months. I love coffee, whole or ground, pottery, yarn, quilts. Beer is always cool. _________________ Jennifer-

A couple countries or locations you would like/ be interested to receive from: International would be so fun, otherwise somewhere outside of the northeast US
A list of things you collect or would be interested in receiving from another location: Well, I like giraffes ( ) ... but what would be fun is stuff like food (what's mailable at least), candy, music, local publications, oversized tees to sleep in (size men's XL), anything like that
**I am allergic to strong scents (migraines), so if your region is known for its flowery perfumes or powerful cleaning products we are probably not a match. LOL |

Can you ship out of country/International? Sure thing, Bob.
A couple countries or locations you would like/ be interested to receive from: If in the US, the south (I could seriously do with some Zapp's chips) or west. Intn'l, anywhere pretty much.
A list of things you collect or would be interested in receiving from another location: Candy (I LOVE GUMMIES), wine (white, sweet), yarn/fiber- I'm all about local dyers as of late, moose stuff. I like bright colors- if it's obnoxiously bright, I am SO there. My favorite color is purple. I love knitting. I love special buttons. I like food scented stuff. I love my family. A lot. I have my own coffee, thanks. I wear a L shirt (unless it's made small, then I need an XL). I am terrified of balloons and clowns. My house is done in Americana crap. I love tea towels. If you grow penicillin or have a penchant for rubbing shellfish on things, please don't send to me- I don't intend on dying from a swap. _________________

A couple countries or locations you would like/ be interested to receive from: Anyplace outside of the states; HI, the south, anywhere in the states that is not coastal (the ocean gets tiring when you live in the middle of it) Yeah, okay, HI is coastal, but really cool so it's okay. LMAO.
A list of things you collect or would be interested in receiving from another location: No knick knacks please- I hate to dust. I hate sports. Also I don't drink. Just about anything else is welcome. I wear a men's XL or a ladies XXL. The kids wear L. Food is always good (which is probably why we all wear big sizes ). Doggie stuff (I have a small 25 lb boy and a large 85 lb boy), recipes, plants or seeds, towels. We have no allergies here. _________________ ~June

Can you ship out of country/International? Yep
Shirt size XL/XXL I think.
A couple countries or locations you would like/ be interested to receive from:
Erm, pretty much anywhere. Canada would be good, San Fransisco or New Orleans areas have always been vaguely interesting to me (hippies and the Mardi Gras). Anywhere vaguely exotic, tropical islands, Hawaii, etc. Anywhere by the sea!
A list of things you collect or would be interested in receiving from another location: I seem to be slowly collecting tea towels from places Like June, I hate dusting so no nick nacks. Veggie food (no gelatine) is good. I like purple, hot pinks, teals/aqua. Dislike yellow, pastels, grey.
No sushi, sock monkeys, skulls or those sausage dogs No white choc. Will edit more later..... _________________ Shadow

Can you ship out of country/International? Not for this swap...things from around here tend to be heavy
A couple countries or locations you would like/ be interested to receive from: I have traveled lots of places, so anywhere but PA is great with me. And not NJ, that's where I'm originally from.
A list of things you collect or would be interested in receiving from another location: I love to try food/snacks/candy/coffee from other places. Funky socks or tees (sm) are neat. Please nothing I have to dust...unless it's a cool book. My husband wanted me to add, beer is okay with him...silly man
Please no patchouli, raisins, mango, papaya or anise(black licorice) _________________ Rebecca- happily married to Jim, mom to 4 great kids and fur mom to 2 clever kitties.

Can you ship out of country/International? yup
A couple countries or locations you would like/ be interested to receive from: pretty much anywhere. i have lived all over the US, but am particularly fond of the pacific northwest. havent lived in canada would love from other countries, too, though: england, ireland, whereverelsewehavemembersfrom
A list of things you collect or would be interested in receiving from another location: please no nik naks, we dont really collect anything. the boys are 7.5, 6, almost 5 and 3 and are small-average for their ages. edibles must be vegetarian (no gelatine) and dark to super dark chocolate are preferred. things with alcohol in them are fine (yes, i am a lush ), yarn is always welcome, surprise me! oh, iodine, strawberries, cabbage and soy are no-go, unfortunately.
yeah, surprise me/us! remember shipping overseas can get pricey, so you may want to rethink sending really heavy stuff like cast-iron ware _________________ my name is bond, my name is bond. james bond, james bond

A couple countries or locations you would like/ be interested to receive from: Just about anywhere in the US except for maybe California and the Pacific Northwest (I was raised in Southern California). Obviously, other countries would be excellent!
A list of things you collect or would be interested in receiving from another location: I love coffee mugs and have a few from different places I've been or that other's have given me from their journies. I'd love to try different foods/snacks/candies (that can last through the mail, of course) and coffee and tea are enjoyed here. I love candles/tarts. T-shirts in XL for me, L for Nicki, and 12-18 month (long-sleeved) for Roz.
I'll update this further if I think of anything else. _________________ ~Mary, Mom to N, grandma to R (10/08), E (4/11)
