About the Artist
I'm blogging at Pearl
I am a young thirtysomething living around Washington, DC.
Knitting and
Jewelry making are two of my favorite activities, and while I
began my artistic journey
with the fiber arts, I've incorporated some of my favorite fiber
arts techniques into my jewelry. I knit sterling silver wire by hand to
create the focal points for my Catch a Pearl jewelry line. Each piece
is an eye catching and delicate work of art. When I'm not creating
things, I'm writing, working at Georgetown university, aiming for a
master's degree in the History of Decorative Arts at the Corcoran
College of Art and Design, and living that odd DC life where friends
google chat about primary returns and almost every conversation turns
political :)
