Behind the Monkey

I'm Jessie ~ owner, operator and Mama Monkey behind the scenes. Everything you see here is made by me unless otherwise specified.

The name for the shop comes from my children. They're our little monkeys and they're always dancing and jumping around. When it came time to brainstorm I asked them for input. Their response was unanimous ~ it had to be the Monkey Dance!

I am a WAHM to five children, aged 2 months through almost 11 years. They're my inspiration, my motivation and my product research team.

I've been sewing clothing and blankets for a bit over five years. I began sewing diapers three years ago. 

All Fattycakes diapers are sewn by me and sold with permission from Berritt, the creator of the Fattycakes pattern. Her cart can be found at the Diva Designs Congo.

Everything at Monkey Dance is created in a cat friendly, smoke free home.

Monkey Dance mostly stocks handcrafted children's clothing, diapers, hand bags, diaper bags, small toys and trinkets, but check back often as new products are introduced frequently.
