This listing is for a pair of wool longies made in a size LARGE. They work great as a cloth diaper cover, over prefolds or fitted diapers, or they stand on their own!

Because of its natural oils and lanolin, wool is known for its antimicrobial and water repelling properties thus the perfect medium for cloth diaper covers. Wool can easily hold over 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling damp or clammy.  It has amazing breathability which allows air to flow freely to your baby’s bottom preventing irritation and rash. Also, its breathability allows it to regulate baby’s skin temperature, keeping baby’s bum warm in winter and cool in summer.  Wool takes very little resources to process with also makes it a greener choice for cloth diapering.  Cover your baby’s bottom with this all natural fashion statement!

These longies provide a superior fit allowing extra room in the rear for those cloth tushes and a gusseted crotch for ease of movement. These longies fit like no other longies out there.  They have a more traditional pant fit, wider and straight legs, and roomier thighs.  This pair has a ribbed waistband with icord tie and a moss/seed stitch cuff.

Item is hand made by me in a smoke free and cat friendly home.

This pair is made with cestari superfine merino dyed by me in shades of crimson, chestnut, gray, and vibrant orange.

Wool should always be hand washed in cold water and lay flat or line dry to prevent felting. Wool longies need only be washed if soiled or become stinky, usually around once a month.  Regular lanolizing with each washing is recommended in order to maintain the natural properties of the wool.  I recommend using a wool wash or bar to lanolize prior to use.  I have not prewashed or lanolized these longies.
