Policies
Effective February 10, 2009
Defective Items: If there is a defect in an item within 30 days of purchase, I will fix the item (if it's possible to fix it), or replace the item with the same or similar. In the case of a custom order, if there is a defect and the diaper cannot be fixed, I will do my best to make the same item but because fabrics are constantly changing, I cannot guarantee the same exact item can be made. If this is the case you will be offered the opportunity to choose different fabric(s), refunds will not be issued for defective items that cannot be made again. I will not issue any exchanges without first receiving the defective item. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer to ship the item back to me. If this is a problem, please consider before purchasing.
Shipping: Shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If an item is being returned for any reason, buyer is responsible for shipping to me. I will pay shipping back to you if the item needs to be fixed.
Shipping is sometimes very hard to judge. I have never and will never ask for money if the mistake of shipping is mine. If I have grossly overcharged for shipping, I am more than happy to make a refund. If you feel that the calculations for your purchases are way over priced, please email me and ask me about a lower shipping rate. I am always happy to accommodate the request if the store calculations are off. I ship most packages under 13 ounces via First Class Mail within the states. Anything over 13 ounces may go Priority Mail or Parcel Post, you have the option of Priority Mail. Please do not expect your package to be sent Priority Mail unless that is the rate you have paid for. Occasionally the difference between Priority Mail and Parcel Post is small and I cover the extra charges. International packages will either go First Class or Priority per my discretion.
Your Address in Paypal:
If your address is not up to date in Paypal, I will not be held responsible for items that are shipped to old or incorrect addresses. Please make sure your address is correct. On that same note, I will not change names or addresses through Paypal, this policy protects you and me.
Second Quality Merchandise: Exchanges or refunds will not be made on any second quality goods. The defects are always clearly stated in each listing. Please take this into consideration when purchasing.
Dissatisfaction because of improper fit: Please use the measurements provided in each listing to compare to your child. I try very hard to give accurate pound ranges but each child is different and what may fit one child at one weight, may not fit another. I use many different types of fabrics for my items, some stretch more than others which means two items of the same size may fit differently because it may be made from a fabric with more stretch or less, etc.
If you have any questions or doubts, please ask first. I normally cannot give you a yes or no answer as to whether or not it will fit your child, but I will do my best to help you through the process of deciding what size may be best for your little one.
Insurance: If you are a US resident and do not purchase insurance, I WILL NOT refund for packages that are lost in the mail. I'm truthful in all my selling and if I say the package has been shipped, that means it has been taken to the post office and is out of my hands or has been picked up by my post man as is no longer in my possession.
Insurance is available for purchase, please use discretion as to whether or not you purchase it. I am also not responsible for international packages that are lost in the mail. I save all receipts of packages that are sent directly through the United States Postal Service which include all international packages. International insurance is not available. Insurance is only available to US residents at this time.
