This is a great opportunity to earn credit towards the purchase of your jewellery or even that of your entire party.
It would be similar to having a 'home party', except that you wouldn't actually need to have anyone in your house. You can reach a lot more people, and you don't need to offer refreshments! If you live close to me, however, I would be happy to host a live party for you in addition.
Online parties run for a period of one week over at Zingee Zou, the non-bridal sister store (currently getting a facelift).
Once you book a party I will email you a code, which you can then pass on to family and friends along with the website URL. They in turn can pass the word on to other people. The more the merrier – and the better for you. You might even end up earning all of your wedding jewellery if there are enough sales.
During that week everyone can shop from wherever they are in the world. You really don't need to limit yourself to people you know in your immediate area. Keep in mind that people living out of state, or even abroad, who won't be able to make it to the wedding might enjoy helping you out in this way and getting something for themselves. There are plenty of gift-giving occasions throughout the year. Some people may even want to plan ahead for Christmas!
Your guests will get a 10% discount on their purchases. All they have to do is use your code at checkout. The code will not expire. They can use this code anytime. This way if they choose to be repeat customers they will always get 10% off their purchases.
You will receive 10% of party sales in jewellery credit. So, for example, if $400 in sales are made you will get $40 in credit towards your bridal jewellery. You can put that towards a custom or can use it on something in the lili lutu store. You will also get $5 credit for every party booked during that week by your guests.
Please note that you will only accrue credit from sales made during that one week.
There will be a door prize (lottery) at the online party - and all of your guests (and their guests) will be eligible to enter. The Hyenacart system will take care of the logistics for me – and pick the winner randomly as it always does when the time slot for the lottery ends. I will pick up the tab for shipping the door prizes to the winners, and it doesn't matter if they are outside the USA.
Brides who host a party will get a pair of earrings from the Zingee Zou store just for hosting. Shipping on that item will also be free.
