The amber strand is worn like a belt. The beads are strung on phthalates-freeelastic and the strand fastens with one sterling silver spring ring clasp. The amber must be worn touching the skin.Ideally, it should be worn directly on top of the most painful area of the back. To achieve a therapeutic benefit, it should be worn at all times, including overnight (but not when bathing).
There is about 12" of amber on the strand. The beads are graduated in size from apx. 1/2"x 1/2" at the center of the strand to just larger than 1/4" x 1/4" toward the ends of the amber strand.
To measure for the best fit, wrap a
tape measurer or a piece of string around your body at the location the amber
needs to be worn. Order the length you
need in inches. As the strand is
partially elastic, it will fit a size range of about an inch smaller or larger than the size you order.
