Diapering woolens

About my diapering woolens

After three+ years of using my handcrafted woolens, I've developed an exclusive pattern that provides a "like a glove fit." My pattern features an original drawstring-less waist, eliminating the need for drawstrings which I think can also create a choking hazard to our cloth diapered little ones. Your woolens will arrive to you freshly washed & ready for lanolizing.

How to care for your diapering woolens

To lanolize: Fill a sink, bowl, or basin with lukewarm water. Add a few drops of your lanolin of choice. Gently lay your woolens in the lanolin & water then swish GENTLY. Flip item over & let them soak in the lanolin water for twenty minutes. Pull out woolens & softly wring out excess water. Lay on a towel & roll up. Press the towel quite firmly- I prefer to stand on mine as it seems to get most of the water out. Lay woolen item flat on a screen, space board, or a large, flat area. Woolens generally take 12-36 hours to dry completely.

To wash: Follow same directions as above, omit the lanolin & add your mild detergent of choice.
