How to put on your Hippie Baby sling.
Fold your sling in half making a double layer pouch. Place the sling on like a sash, with the opening of the sling facing up. The seam should sit between your belly button and hip, were your babies bottom will fit. Sling should lay flat against your shoulder and back.
Cradle Carry- Newborn-4 months
Hold your baby in the cradle position with her bottom on the side the seam is on. While opening the two layers of fabric to form a pouch, place your baby in butt first. Bounce your baby until she slides into the pouch, making sure to pull fabric up on each side of baby to make sure she is supported.
Front Carry- 2 months- 7 months
Hold your baby up high on your chest with her legs crossed and his back to you. Pull open pouch and place baby in bottom first. His head will be out with arms in or out. This is perfect for your baby once he can hold his own head up.
Hip/Tummy Carry- 4 months- 30 pounds
While holding your baby up on your shoulder pull his feet through sling, open the sling to make a seat with the seam under his bottom. Slide your baby down into the seat, the sling should cover from his knees to his armpits.
