Returns/Exchanges on In Stock Items:

Customer satisfaction is our priority. Blissful Bottoms appreciates feedback on our products. If there is an issue with workmanship we want to correct it - please let us know about it so that we can prevent any similar mistake with future orders!

Within 14 days of purchase you may return your unwashed, unused first quality handmade item to us. Once the item is returned we will either credit your account or refund you the item price, less shipping.

Between 14 and 30 days of purchase you can return your first quality unwashed, unused item for store credit.

Please note that BlissfulBottoms is not responsible for return shipping or outgoing shipping on returned or exchanged items.

Items listed as second quality are not returnable. We make every effort to fully explain the defect in the item. We stand behind our seconds. If you find a problem, unrelated to the reason it was listed as a second, we will work with you to correct any knitting or crochet flaw.

Custom Order Policies:

Custom orders cannot be returned. If there is a problem with workmanship on a custom order we will work with you on a case by case basis to correct any knitting or crochet flaw. We reserve the right to request that the item be returned to us at your expense for inspection to determine the nature of the problem.

Pooling of color in a custom knit or crochet item is not considered a flaw of workmanship. Handpainted yarns are wonderful to work with in part because you do not know until the item is complete exactly how the coloring will work out. If you do not like pooling in your knit items, please contact us prior to ordering for assistance in choosing yarns for your project that are less likely to pool.

We will work closely with you to ensure that you receive an item that will bring happiness to you and your baby. We use your measurements to create your custom item. If you have any question in regard to how to measure your child, please ask. We will be happy to help ensure that the measurements are taken correctly. We cannot accept returns on items that do not fit due to incorrect measurements.

Safety/ Liability Agreement

Safety is a priority at Blissful Bottoms. We make every effort to make a quality item that is safe for your baby. Please remember no item is ever completely safe. A watchful adult should always be with baby while awake, and by following these simple safety rules you can be confident that your baby will be safe wearing our products

We recommend forgoing drawstrings whenever possible. New babies rarely need a drawstring and with proper fitting, care and use of appropriate wool yarns, most babies and toddlers can effectively wear our items without a drawstring.

However, we understand that a drawstring may be important to your situation. Therefore, we suggest that you always double-knot all drawstrings. Wool is not a slippery yarn so it does not untie easily, but you should make sure your knots are snug and secure before putting baby to sleep in a drawstring item. Our drawstrings are designed and inserted to be easily removed when they are no longer needed. However, we would be happy to secure the drawstring permanently for you

As always, do NOT leave a baby awake unattended. We always want to keep our little ones safe!

Care/Washing

Your new Blissful Bottoms will arrive washed and ready for baby to wear. One of the unique properties of wool that makes it so amazing for cloth diapering is that it does not need to be washed after every use. We recommend laying your wool item flat on a towel to dry if it is damp after use. Wool should be washed whenever soiled, whenever it begins to lose it’s waterproofing properties or every 10-14 days depending upon use. Your wool items need to be hand washed and never dried in the dryer. Fill a sink with warm water and put in the recommended amount of wool wash. Prepare your lanolin (solid lanolin needs to be melted and emulsified) and add to the wash water. Make sure the water temperature is evenly distributed and not hot before placing your wool items in the warm water. We recommend washing sets together and washing items of different colors separately. Squish the wool around in the water and allow to soak for 15 minutes. Do not oversoak as some yarns may bleed. You can carefully scrub any soiled areas with a wool wash bar. After soaking, remove your wool item from the sink and gently squeeze (never wring) the excess water from your item. We recommend rolling the item in a towel to remove excess water. Reshape your Blissful Bottoms and allow to dry flat. Hang drying can distort the shape of your item. Handpainted yarns may bleed on your diapers, but the dyes used to dye wool yarns will in nearly every case wash out of your diapers or sheets. If bleeding is a problem, please let us know and we will be happy to assist you in better setting the dyes. Blissful Bottoms is happy to recommend a wool wash and lanolin for you. Never use bleach on your wool or store in direct sunlight.

Agreement

By purchasing items from Blissful Bottoms you are acknowledging that you have read and agree to the policies as stated. If you have any questions or concerns in regard to our policies, we request that you contact us prior to making your purchase to ensure your ultimate satisfaction.

Clearanced Retail Items

z2akids and Blissful Bottoms are former retailers of several cloth diapering items. Any items sold through the Blissful Bottoms hyenacart are final sale items and sold as is. z2akids and Blissful Bottoms will not continue to retail these products and any defects of workmanship are covered by the manufacturer's warranty and return policies. Please review the manufacturer's policies prior to purchasing as these items are not returnable to Blissful Bottoms or z2akids.

Additional Policies

Payment - Immediate payment is required unless prior arrangement has been made. Blissful Bottoms reserves the right to relist any item that has not been paid for within 1 hour of purchase.

Oversells - In the event that an item oversells, Blissful Bottoms reserves the right to refund any and all payments on the oversold item. If it is possible to determine the first purchaser in an oversell situation, that purchaser will receive the item, or custom slot. All other purchasers will be refunded promptly upon determination that they are not the initial buyer. If it is not possible to determine the first buyer, then all payments will be reimbursed and the item will restock, or the item will be sold via lottery to those who bought during the oversell, at Blissful Bottoms' discretion.

Smoke/Pets - Our household is smoke free. We do have a single cat who is not allowed near the wool or knitting. However, it is possible that his presence in our house could result in stray cat hair or dander on your handknit. Please keep this in mind when purchasing for anyone with an allergy.
