These shorties are SUPERB! The fit is very nice, with some room to grow without being saggy. Marcie's crocheting is perfect! These are heavy enough that G could wear them overnight, but I probably will have him showing them off more in the daytime. He wore them for about 4 hours the first afternoon we got them, even tumbling around the playground, and they are fantastic. Thanks for sending them already lanolized, as G was almost as eager as I was for him to wear them! |

Product review: Marcie's crochet is super tight and absolutely bulletproof. The drawstring tie is really substantial. If you are looking for a wool item that would hold up to overnights, this would be it! Because her crochet is so tight (which is a GOOD THING, especially for those heavy wetters) you may want to size up a bit when ordering, since depending on the yarn the finished product might not stretch as much as a more loosely crocheted item would. I didn't think of this when I ordered, requested a super tight crochet, and in retrospect I should have asked to size up and/or add some short rows. They do fit, but with not a lot of growing room. Marcie very sweetly offered to remake them, however! But since DS is slimming down I don't think that will be necessary. I also have to add that she responds very quickly to PM's and sends pictures really fast. Thanks Marcie! |
