When I didn't receive the package (mail problem, not them), they replaced it immediately without question so I didn't have to worry about it arriving in time for christmas. The second arrived without a problem. Ironically, the first package FINALLY arrived a few days after the second (three and a half week AFTER the sending date stamped on the box). Instead of having me send the original delayed package back to them, they simply had me donate it to one of our local charities. Specific item: Solid wood Tri-Car Hauler (18 inches total, 8 inch truck with trailer and 3 small cars) Customer service: Prompt communication and fast, secure shipping. Product review: We are a Waldorf family with two boys, so needless to say we have *many* wooden vehicles from various sources. Our truck and trailer from Grandpa Johns is the most sturdy and has the best design of them all! It's heavy and solid and you can tell it's made by people who know how little boys (or girls) play with their cars and trucks. I especially like that the trailer connects to the truck with a rectangular block of wood instead of a wooden peg, which I imagine will hold up to lots of wear and tear. My 4yo son loves it as well, and he is the envy of my 7yo, who has placed his order with me to get him one as soon as possible. Thus, I'm already planning my next purchase.

Grandpa John is so very friendly. I am a very very happy REPEAT customer this is my 3rd order from him. Product review: construction of the train is unbelieveable, I would definately call these heirloom quality! I can see my grand kids and great grandkids playing with this train in 75 years! The pictures do nothing for his toys at all, i was excited when i ordered it but i was absolutely jumping up and down when i opened the box, there is so much detail and love put into each piece not 1 flaw! they are sanded so smooth and abosolutely no excess hard little glue dripping like i have gotten from another toymaker, the finsih is beautiful and they are made with real hardwoods so they will take a beating and not dent up like the poplar woods. I couldnt recommend grandpa john more he has me in awe even my husband was playing with the train and made several comments on how much detail there is!
