She was really nice in emails and kept constant contact. Upon completion of the longies, I was sent pictures, paid the balance due and they were shipped right away. After receiving them, they were too small and were not the measurements stated on her site for this size. I emailed her and she offered to refund or fix them, I decided on a refund. I paid return shipping and sent them back and after she received them, she refunded me but not the entire amt. She kept my deposit and original shipping costs. In total, I lost out on over $10 on the transaction between the deposit, the original shipping and return shipping. | | Product review: | Her knitting was beautiful. However, the pair I purchased was 0-3 month sizing, said to be: 16" rise, 10" thigh, 14" waist, 16" hips, 7" inseam (per her site.) When I received my longies, they measured: 14" waist, 16" hips, 14" rise, 9.5" thigh, 6.5" inseam. They were not made to the measurements she stated they would be and I was disappointed in them being too small for my baby and there wasn't enough stretch for me to make them fit. | | 2008-09-12 03:18:26 | | Seller response: | On July 22 she contacted me about a custom and asked what kind of yarn I
had. I took pictures of the yarn I had but she wanted girly. I offered to
dye some for her and she agreed, saying she wanted either a primary or
pastel rainbow, that it didn't matter as long as it had a lot of color. So I
dyed a primary rainbow for her but it had too much yellow in it. Then I dyed
a pastel rainbow and she loved it and wanted a custom. She paid $5 for a
deposit, using a GC for $5. I asked for her child's measurements and she
sent an email saying "Ok, she's 14-15" rise, 13" waist, 7" inseam....." The
measurements on these longies are Waist: 14" , Hips: 16", Rise: 14", Thigh:
9.5", Inseam: 6.5" I agreed that the inseam was 1/2" too short and offered
to fix them for her, telling her that it would be an easy and quick fix. She
stated that after she talked with her husband that she wanted a refund. So I
had her send them back to me and the day I received them I refunded her $30.
She paid $37.50 total and was upset that I didn't refund the $7.50. My
policies clearly state that deposits are non-refundable and I didn't refund
the $2.50 shipping because they were indeed shipped.
