The gaberdine straps are so soft and supportive. There is a bit of a learning curve with the pleated straps and getting them positioned just right, but it is worth it because you are able to get a much tighter, and therefore more comfortable, fit with them.
The mei tai is tall bodied and my almost two year old can put his arms in and snuggle down for a nap, or we can fold the headrest down and he can have his arms out and see everything.
Shanna's sewing is impeccable, and her fabric choices for my mei tai coordinate perfectly and are beautiful, high quality fabrics.
The standard straps are more than long enough and I can do a lexi twist with room to spare.
