When and where purchased: September 2007 Trade on HC Specific item: Custom Knitting Bag with my own fabric. I sent her a bag I had made and told her that I needed the pockets made in the exact measurements of that bag. Customer service: Jessica kept me informed via e-mail and her blog about the status of my bag. She got it done VERY fast. Product review: When she finished the bag, she told me that she hoped that the pockets would work for me since they were different than the ones that I had on my bag. She said her bags were constructed differently than the bag I had sent. When I received the bag, I noticed that she was right, the pockets were quite different. Initially, I was very disappointed because I didn't think I'd be able to make this bag work. I wouldn't have had the bag made if she wasn't able to make the pockets to my specifications. When I opened the box and pulled out my bag, there was a very strong odor. I had numerous people smell it and try to figure out what it was. We couldn't pinpoint the smell, but we all agreed it wasn't pleasant. I had to wash the bag before I used it. It came out of the wash just fine. That's when I got to looking at it some more and realized that most of the seams didn't line up. After a lot of rearranging, I got the pockets to work for my needs. The overall construction of the bag is very sturdy and that's really important to me because I carry a LOT of yarn in my knitting bag.

We went back and forth with PMs discussing the specifics of the bag. When it was all settled we decided on something and she said it would be 2-3 weeks. I waited and didn't hear from her so I started to get worried. I pm'd her and never heard back. Finally I emailed and filed with PP. As soon as I did that she told me she would ship the next day. It was 45 days after I had paid. Product review: I did recieve the bag but it is not the bag that I wanted. The embrodery is much smaller than I envisioned. It seems like it was sewn together well but it is not at all what I expected. I would have contacted her about my displeasure but she still hasn't read her first pm from me.

But after a few weeks, I didn't hear anything and her blog is not updated either. Then after seeing posting about this wahm, I finally sent her email listed in the blog, but I didn't get any reply. I paid twice, the second payment is for additional work for pockets. The first payment has passed 45 days, but the second payment hasn't. I disputed the first payment with credit card company and I filed claim with paypal for the second one. Still haven't heard from her yet either. Product review: bag is never received.

When and where purchased: Holiday Lane Congo, custom spot for messenger bag, order #154 Oct 25, 2007 Specific item: custom messenger bag with dewberry sparrow fabric and cherry blossom embroidery Customer service: great at first, then after a few weeks i heard nothing. she isn't reading PM's or responding to email. i filed a PP claim to protect myself and she hasn't even responded to it. Product review:N/A will update if i receive my bag UPDATE: jessica never communicated with me at all, never responded to my PP claim either. PP found in my favor but was only able to recover $11.63 of the $57 i paid her.

When and where purchased: HC Custom Slot Purchase #1028, 10/12/2007 Specific item: Requested a large messanger bag using a pink fungus amongus print with thin chocolate corduroy and mushroom embroidery. Customer service: CS was horrible. It started off ok but then got very odd quickly. Stated my fabric arrved, then told it was in route, then told it actually was there and it was the wrong fabric. Offered to do a new custom if I did not like the finished product (I told her right away, before production that I was not fond of the fabric that had arrived). She made up the bag and I did not like it as it was a thicker/heavier corduroy and a different fabric, no pink at all. When I told her I did not like the bag she said that she needed to refund me and made me feel as if it was my fault/I was to blame. Promised refund on a specific date and then didn't refund then. Through a series of rude pm's in which I was made to feel at fault over and over again it was finally resolved and a week after promised refund date I had the money in my account. Product review: Never recieved bag.

Specific item: Custom Large Messenger Bag Customer service: Great communication, excellent customs process (I had no idea what I wanted) and updates on progress. Product review: I love the bag! The strap is super long, so even I can get it around me messenger style (big bust ), and I love the celtic tree of life design that was adapted to match. Looking forward to carrying it to work tomorrow!

I pm'd her to ask about it and she responded right away. She told me that she had been away and it would go out right away. I received it very soon after. Product Review: I ordered this as an adoption gift for my ILs new dog Barney. MIL and FIL just loved it. MIL commented on how well made it was. We will definitely order from Jessica again in the future.

Product Review: I ordered this as a Halloween present for my mom and her poodle. Mom thought it was beyond adorable, and Max the dog wore it for all of October. He received TONS of compliments from people about what a great collar it was.

Product review: This is a terrific bag that will be just the right size for my son's ever-growing Cars collection. There are three inside pockets for -- of course! -- McQueen, The King and Chick Hicks, and the bag itself is deep and sturdy. The lower half is a thick corduroy, and it has been reinforced so that it stands on its own. This will be a Christmas present for my son - I plan to fill it with a few more Cars - and I almost can't wait to give it to him!

The leash is in the same print and also very well made. I can't wait to try it out.

We also received some treats that must have been good, because our dog scarfed them down! I will remember this store for Christmas presents, for the animals of course!

She responded and said she expected to have it shipped by that Friday, December 1, via Priority. 11 more days passed with no notification of shipment and no word from Jessica, so I emailed again on December 11 to ask if it had been shipped. Jessica responded that afternoon and told me she would look up the shipping information. I hadn't heard from her by the next day, so I emailed her that afternoon and she did not respond. After seeing her active online on a messageboard that night, still with no response to me, I asked for a refund. Jessica sent the refund late night of December 12. I was never given any proof of shipping, and she would not even tell me what day the package was sent, whether it was shipped with Paypal or the post office, or anything else that would help me believe it had actually been sent. We agreed that if the package does show up, I will return to sender. Product review: N/A - product never received.
